String Theory: Randomly Designed

Creating bespoke furniture which is unique and personal to each individual was the provocation behind this project.  The response to this: String Theory. A pattern which is generated from the organic way a splatter pattern forms after an ink soaked length of string is thrown at a piece of hardwood.  This randomly designed pattern is then cut into the surface of the wood, polished, mounted onto hand carved hardwood legs and presented to the customer as a unique representation of their personal journey.

No pattern the same.   No journey the same.   No table the same.

This is String Theory.
